WHAT WE DO
THAILAND
Thailand is nicknamed "the land of smiles." Buddhism is the primary religion, followed by 92% of the population. There are ornate temples and golden gods everywhere, which people offer prayers and gifts to. Their hope is to do enough good things to one day reach nirvana.
Thailand's neighbor is Myanmar, a country that’s known years of ethnic strife and ongoing civil wars. Thousands of refugees have fled their homes to escape the ongoing war and persecution. They live along the border of Thailand. Many of them flee with nothing, and have no source of income. Some of them have access to government aid, but many of them do not.

HOW WE ARE MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN SOUTHEAST ASIA
New Life Commission’s heart is to bring hope, help, and healing to this area of the world. We are working to make a difference in the lives of people who are facing challenging situations. Countless refugees near the border struggle with obtaining supplies basic to life - including food and shelter.
NLC helps by meeting some of the basic needs of individuals and families. We are seeing lives changed by introducing individuals, families, and communities to Jesus by showing them His love, and sharing with them how He can change their life.

HOPE
SHARING THE GOOD NEWS OF HOPE FOR THEIR FUTURE
Thailand's primary religion is Buddhism, with strong ties in culture to folk religion and animism. Most people in this nation have never heard the story of Jesus. Our heart is to share who Jesus is with the people of Southeast Asia.

HELP
HELPING MEET THEIR GREATEST PRESENT NEED
Within this area of the world, there are many who have everyday needs they are unable to meet. We help by providing food for schools, school uniforms, bathrooms for churches, and homes for refugees.

HEALING
HEALING FROM THEIR PAST,
SO THEY CAN EXPERIENCE
A BETTER TOMORROW.
The heart of God is to heal broken bodies and wounded souls in a way that only He can do. We help people encounter, in a real and tangible way, a God who loves them.
